Strategy
Iron Tide Command
★★★★☆ 4.1
Iron Tide Command is a strategy game that respects your time more than most. You plan defences, manage a handful of resources, and each match plays out in a tight window rather than dragging across days of waiting timers.
The pinch-to-zoom and drag controls are smooth, and placing units feels precise once you get used to the grid. There's a real learning curve on the harder maps, where a single misplaced tower can unravel everything, and that tension is exactly what kept us replaying levels.
Where it stumbles is the interface density. Small buttons cluster in the corners, and on a compact phone we occasionally tapped the wrong thing mid-battle. Turning on the larger UI option in settings helps a lot.
What we liked
- Matches that fit into a coffee break
- Satisfying, punishing difficulty curve
- No forced waiting timers
