Pocket Pilot started as a group chat where a few of us kept sending each other screenshots and complaints about mobile games. At some point we figured we might as well write it down properly, so here we are.,We play everything on our own devices, from older mid-range phones to newer ones, because a game that runs smoothly on a flagship can turn into a slideshow elsewhere. That difference matters more than most reviews admit, so we always mention it.,Games get picked in a simple way: something catches our attention, we install it, and we play until we have an actual opinion. Nobody hands us a list of titles to praise. If a game is dull, we say so, and if it surprises us, we say that too.,The site is small on purpose. We would rather post one careful write-up than ten rushed ones, and we keep older articles around instead of chasing trends.

Markus Feldmann — Markus has been playing games on tiny screens since the days of monochrome displays. He handles most of the RPG and strategy coverage and refuses to review anything he hasn't finished at least once.
